Madhushala

Madhushala is one of the most celebrated works of Hindi poetry written by Harivansh Rai Bachchan in 1935. The book is a collection of lyrical quatrains (rubaiyat) that use the symbolic imagery of wine, the cup, the tavern, and the wine-bearer to express deep philosophical thoughts about life, love, spirituality, and human existence.
